Delivery of Medications
After completing a comprehensive pharmacist review
of the prescription order and the applicable clinical criteria, the specialty medication
is generally packaged in a non-descript, insulated container, according to manufacturer
guidelines. The medication order is
then shipped through an overnight delivery service to the location of the patient’s
choice, including home, work, physician’s office or vacation spot.
Ascend SpecialtyRx understands the need to protect patient privacy. Our packaging and
shipping materials have NO reference to the medication and are labeled in such a
way so that they are not identified as coming from a pharmacy.
