"I am extremely satisfied with Ascend. You have really been nice to me- everyone that I’ve talked to. You have explained things to me so I can understand it, and you have called on time for me to get my medication, and you’ve sent it to me on time. I am really satisfied with the help that you have given me."

Learn About Your Fertility Medications

Our highly trained fertility team is experienced in reproductive medicine and fertility care.

One of our fertility nurses will call you when we fill a new prescription, to answer any questions, review your treatment protocol and provide support and instructions on taking your medications. Each prescription is also carefully filled and individually checked by one of our experienced pharmacists, to help ensure that the medications ordered by your doctor are delivered to you on time, every time.

There are many medications available for the treatment of infertility. These medications are either hormones or substances that stimulate hormone production, and are used to regulate and/or stimulate your fertility. Some of these medications may be taken in pill form, as a nasal spray, a vaginal insert, or a gel that you rub into you skin, but many of them must be given as an injection on one or more days during an ovulation cycle.

Your doctor may also prescribe a compounded medication as part of your treatment, to offer a customized dose, strength or formulation of a medication not available. All of our
compounded prescriptions are created in our pharmacy’s on-site, state-of-the-art, fully-compliant compounding laboratory under the direction of highly trained and experienced compounding pharmacists. Our compounding lab is accredited by the International Academy of Compounding Pharmacists, ensuring that we meet or exceed standards for providing effective  compounded medications, quality control and safety.
